The archiving tab is where you select how your old posts show up on the side of your blog. This archiving is how people will be able to quickly search through posts to see what else you have written in the past. Selecting weekly archiving is a good idea if you blog a lot of posts each day. If you only blog once or twice daily or even just do a few posts a week, monthly or weekly archiving is a better option. The next option is post pages and this means that each post has its have page so that someone can save the link to just one post and share it with other such as emailing it to friends. That is much more difficult to do if you do not decide post pages. Not choosing that option will make every posts bundle together on one page.

Site feed is another great option that can help you watch your visitors grow. Using RSS (Loyal Simple Syndication) anyone can sign up to your feed and have it sent to a software program or a website such as myYahoo and gets notified whenever you create a new post. You have the option to send the full text of your post or only some of it. Selecting short post is best because your reader will then come to your blog itself to read what you have written. Site feed is also where you have the option to make money using Adsense or another advertising program in your RSS.

The email tab has the options of inputting an email address so that you will get a copy of your blog sent to you via email whenever you create a recent post. Below that is mail to address in which you can create a specific address that you can send a blog post to honest using an email.

Permissions are a tab that is all about privacy. Here you get to choose who can and cannot see your blog. If you do not want your blog easily found for one reason or another, you can simply catch only people you settle and no one else can see your blog because the people you decide will need to log in to read your posts. You can also send an email to other people to allow them to create posts in your blog.

Back at the top of your blog next to settings is the templates tab. The templates status is where you can custom form your blog to make it unique and different from the other blogs on Blogger. Template is also where you can pick a new default blog template and dive into the html code to change features and assign them exactly where you them to go. Blogger has also made it considerable easier to add and delete links and page elements such as moving headers and footers to different areas.
