The Need For Specialist IT Support Services

My fellow work colleagues and I are becoming some what frustrated today. Why? Well because we have now been unable to use our computers, at work, for the last four days. I can only imagine how many e-mails I am going to have to work through when the management finally get around to sorting all of the problems out. This is the management who thought that it would be wise to dispense with the services of our London IT support specialists – they did this as a cost cutting measure – not very clever hey?

The work is starting to pile up as the majority of the people who work for the business need their computers to complete ninety percent of their daily tasks. I am one of those who require their computer and this is why I am becoming very annoyed at the lack of activity in sorting out the problems.

The management have stated that they have tried their very best to obtain an IT support London specialist but that they are too busy at the moment. Are you kidding me? This is London after all. There surely must be somebody who could assist. They have also told the staff that somebody will be coming in to take a look at our IT systems on Monday of next week – but that will be fully a week after the problems started. And what if this person is unable to fix the problem – how long will we then have to wait? If only these management fellows had not stopped the contract with our original IT company then we would not be in this mess!

I would advise other businesses not to make the same mistake that our management have – there are surely other aspects of the business that cost reductions could be made.
